I don't know where the hell you have been, but you might want to catch all the way up.
Since my time knowing Juniper, I have seen this beautiful seed blossom into a beautiful rose. What was once a young, shy individual has become of the most recognized faces in social media. As we both have set out on journey to promote more visibility for LGBTQ+ Black and Brown folks, I have learned so much for not only following their work, but also how social justice will be televised.
What makes Juniper my Rainbow Spotlight of the week is simply them existing in a world that doesn't deserve them. From calling out the racist antics in the film industry to taking on education and how problematic it is, Juniper continues to be a voice for those who have been silenced.
And let us not get forget just how beautiful she is both inside and out.
While I will say that I am personally biased because I love and live for her, I could not see me doing this work if it was not for her. In my early years of social justice, Juniper called me out for various things that I said and did that were problematic and to this day, she still holds me accountable.
I am so thankful and grateful for the both the kinship and the friendship that I have with Juniper and I truly believe that she is, and will be the one, who will help this country & world become a better place.
Thank you Juniper for all that you do.
